Highlighted by two upset victories over ranked opponents in last weekend's Menlo College Volleyball Tournament, junior outside hitter Courtney Calicdan led the Oaks' impressive run and garnered Cal Pac Player of the Week honors for her efforts.
Calicdan is the first Menlo College student-athlete to earn this honor in the 2013-14 season.
In the Lady Oaks four-set upset of No. 9-ranked The Master's College, the Honolulu, Hawaii native recorded a team-high 15 kills.
She followed up that performance the next day with 19 kills in a 4-1 victory over No. 20 CSU San Marcos.
Over the course of the weekend, Calicdan played in all four of the team's matches totaling 16 games played. She tallied a team-best 62 kills and was second on the squad with 54 digs during the tournament.
