Melisa Koutz drove in the game's only run and Rosey Neill had two hits as the Stanford softball team defeated visiting Oregon, 1-0, in a Pac-10 Conference game on Saturday. Missy Penna (25-6) tossed a two-hitter and recorded her 11th shutout as the Cardinal (3-5, 36-7) won its third straight conference contest. Coach John Rittman picked up career win No. 501, and will look for another on Sunday when Stanford and Oregon (1-7, 26-18) meet at noon.
