Stanford grad and current assistant coach Eugene Godsoe earned a silver medal in the men's 50-meter fly as he clocked 23.05 on Monday at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain. Godsoe is the first American to earn a medal in the event since 2007. Brazil's Cesar Cielo won the race in 23.01.
