Team USA d. Nigeria, 25-8, 25-12, 25-15.
Scoring: Sarah Burrington led the U.S. with 13 points, including seven kills on 10 errorless attacks and a match-high six blocks. Canace Finley came off the bench to score 10 points with nine kills on 12 attacks and a block. Kierra Holst entered the match in the second set and contributed 10 points with seven kills on 11 swings and three aces. Jordan Burgess charted eight kills on 13 errorless swings and a block for nine points. Chanell Clark-Bibbs pocketed four kills, two blocks and two aces for eight points. Andie Malloy totaled five kills on seven errorless attacks in just the first set, while Nicole Edelman added two aces, one block and one ace for four points coming off the bench. Allison Palmer tallied two aces and a kill in a reserve role. Kelsey Humphreys rounded out the scoring with a kill.
