Merete Lutz led Team USA with 11 points with eight kills, two blocks and an ace. Andie Malloy charted eight kills and a block for nine points. Captain Jordan Burgess collected seven kills and a block for eight points. Sarah Burrington added four kills, two blocks and two aces for eight points. Kelsey Humphreys chipped in two blocks and a kill for three points, while Nicole Edelman rounded out the scoring with a kill.
Caitlyn Nolan produced a team-high eight digs, while Malloy added seven. Edelman contributed 36 running sets on 86 total set attempts. Burgess tallied 40 excellent receptions on 51 attempts.
The U.S. started Burgess and Malloy at outside hitter, Burrington and Lutz at middle blocker, Humphreys at opposite and Edelman at setter. Nolan is the designated libero for the tournament. Allison Palmer was a sub in the first two sets, while Kierra Holst was a sub in the last two sets.
