The Menlo School boys' tennis team captured its 10th CIF-USTA NorCal Team Championship with a 7-0 romp over Serra on Saturday at the Gold River Racquet Club near Sacramento. The top-seeded Knights wrapped up their season with a 27-1 mark while the No. 3-seeded Padres finished 21-3. The finale was a rematch of the Central Coast Section finals, also won by Menlo.

The Knights reached the finals with a 7-0 win over Monte Vista (Danville) in the semifinals earlier Saturday. Menlo won its opener on Friday, 7-0 over Shasta. The Knights' six-member senior class finished 110-2 over four years, the first Menlo class to lose just twice during that span. Menlo coach Bill Shine, meanwhile, improved to 406-42 in his 17th season with the Knights.
