Evan Romero and Spencer McLachlin each recorded 11 kills but the Stanford men's volleyball team dropped a 30-24, 30-25, 30-17 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match to visiting Long Beach State on Saturday night. The Cardinal (10-10, 15-10) completes its regular-season schedule with a pair of home matches this weekend. UCLA visits Maples Pavilion at 7 p.m. on Friday and USC visits Burnham Pavilion on Saturday at 7 p.m.
