Ryan Onizuka becomes the latest signee to join the 2013 Menlo men's soccer recruiting class.

Onizuka enters as a freshman following his career at San Mateo High, where he was a three-year starter as a center-attacking midfielder.

As a senior co-captain, Onizuka helped his team win the CCS co-champion title and was named the Peninsula Athletic League's midfielder of the year in the Bay Division.

Onziuka has also been active on the club scene as a starting midfielder for the Peninsula Extreme for the past 10 years.

The Foster City native plans to major in Sports Management while at Menlo College.

"Ryan is dynamic in the midfield and clever around the goal. He will add a great dimension to our attack next season," said Menlo head coach Eric Bucchere.
