Palo Alto evened its record in the Palo Alto Winter Classic girls' soccer tournament with a 6-0 romp over Gunderson on Saturday. The Vikings (1-1), who opened the tourney with a 1-0 loss to Sacred Heart Prep on Friday, bounced back in a steady rain the following day and got the eventual winning goal from Katie Foug in the first half.

Megan Tall provided the second goal of the game before she assisted on a goal by Sunny Lyu. Heidi Moeser then scored off an assist from Julia Kwasnick and then Lauren Feitzinger fed Jess Branson for another goal and 5-0 halftime lead. In the second half, Alyssa Maharaj headed in a corner kick by Nine Kelty for the final goal.
