Palo Alto opened the postseason with a 14-4 victory over host R.L. Stevenson in a girls' Central Coast Section tennis opener on Tuesday in Pebble Beach. Paly junior Aashli Budhiraja, who last week won the SCVAL De Anza Division singles title, kept her solid season intact by winning all three of her singles matches, 6-0, in the round-robin format. Paly junior Julianne Le was 3-0 at No. 2 singles while junior Caroline Nore went 2-1 at No. 3. The Vikings (16-9) will face No. 5 seed and host Saratoga (12-6) on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with the winner advancing to Friday's quarterfinals.

In other CCS openers, Menlo-Atherton dropped an 11-7 decision to host Leland and Gunn did the same at Santa Catalina.
