Jason Castro's two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning was the only offense the Stanford baseball team could muster against host Texas on Friday, dropping a 5-2 decision to the Longhorns. Jeremy Bleich lost for the first time this season, despite allowing just one earned run. Ben Clowe had three hits for the Cardinal, including a double. Stanford (6-4) and Texas play again on Saturday.
