Only two days after being waived by the San Francisco 49ers, Stanford grad Matt Masifilo was re-signed by the team on Wednesday. The defensive lineman will add depth to that position. Former Stanford teammate Chase Beeler, however, was waived by the Niners after spending last season as a practice-squad center.
