Rosey Neill, who was named the Pac-10 Player of the Week for her efforts at the Worth Classic, hit a home run, her fourth in five games, and Alyssa Haber added two hits and drove in three runs as the Stanford softball team beat visiting Boston College, 5-1, on Tuesday. Freshman Ashley Chinn (7-0) struck out 11 and threw her fifth complete game. Tricia Aggabao also had two hits for Stanford (21-2), which returns to the field Thursday to face Campbell in the opening round of the Stanford Invitational at 4 p.m. It's the first of six games that Stanford will play in the tourney.
