Junior E.J. Floreal helped the Palo Alto boys' track and field team wrap up the SCVAL De Anza Division dual-meet title by turning in the greatest sprint double in school history during a 110-16 triumph over visiting Saratoga on Thursday. Floreal won the 100 meters in a school record of 10.52, breaking the previous mark of 10.57 by Kenny Smith in 1981. Floreal's time ranks No. 7 in Central Coast Section history, moving him ahead of Olympian Ato Bolden of Piedmont Hills, who ran 10.54 in 1991.

Floreal also won the 200 in a CCS-leading 21.65, missing Smith's school record by .04 of a second. That time ties him for No. 35 in CCS history. Floreal started his day by anchoring the 400 relay to victory in 42.58, getting the Vikings rolling toward a 6-0 mark to wrap up the dual-meet season.
