Freshman Kate Dwelley swam a 1:45.09 to win the Pac-10 title in the 200 free on Friday as the Stanford women's swimming team looks to wrench control of the meet from Arizona heading into Saturday's final day of competition at Long Beach's Belmont Plaza Pool. Freshman Meg Hostage scored 300.90 a few hundred miles north in Federal Way, WA to win the 3-meter diving competition. Julia Smit and Liz Smith finished 2-3 in the 400 IM, Elaine Breeden was third in the 100 fly, and Caroline Bruce was third in the 100 back.
