The Menlo-Atherton boys' tennis team wrapped up a fourth straight undefeated regular season in the PAL Bay Division with a 5-2 victory over host Aragon on Thursday. The Bears finished 14-0 (19-2 overall) despite facing a tough situation with so much riding on the outcome.

Richie Sarwal came off the courts first, with a win at No. 3 singles, followed soon by seniors Zeke Brown and Matt Giordano, with their win at No. 1 doubles. The remaining five matches proved to be tough with four going to three sets. The Bears overcame the extra work to duplicate the finish they had in 2009, when they beat host Aragon to wrap up an unbeaten season.

By beating Aragon, the Bears kept their regular-season PAL Bay Division winning streak alive at 53 straight since the end of the 2008 season.

Four freshmen -- Giordano, Brown and twins Jesse and Christian Perkins -- posed for photos in 2009 having no idea they'd be doing the same thing four years later, as they did Thursday.
