The second-ranked Stanford women's water polo dropped an 8-7 decision in sudden death overtime to top-ranked UCLA in the championship game of the UC Irvine Invitational on Sunday. Jacquelyn Gauthier scored the game-tying goal with 41 seconds left in regulation. Lauren Silver scored four goals to lead Stanford (9-2), which hosts San Diego State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
