Michelle Smith hit two home runs and drove in three runs as the Stanford softball team beat Fordham, 10-2, on Friday morning as part of the Palm Springs Classic. Rosey Neill also homered and drove in three runs as the 13th-ranked Cardinla (12-0) matched its best start in program history. Ashley Chinn struck out eight, and allowed one earned run on four hits in the five-inning game. Alissa Haber also hit a home run in the contest. Stanford plays Oklahoma on Friday afternoon.
