Gunn's wrestling team pinned down the title at the SCVAL Championships on Saturday at Cupertino High, scoring 195.50 points to hold off Los Gatos, Monta Vista and dual-match champ Palo Alto. Led by individual champion Chris Jin at 145 pounds, the Titans put in a great overall effort and qualified 12 athletes to the CCS Championships in two weeks at Independence High School. Four Titans also won JV league titles.
