The Menlo School boys' soccer team fell from second to third in the West Bay Athletic League race and lost a chance to gain an automatic berth into the Central Coast Section playoffs following a 1-0 loss to King's Academy on Friday. Menlo (8-2-3, 11-2-5) has 27 points with only one match remaining, against visiting Harker. King's Academy (10-2-1, 13-4-1) has 31 points with one match remaining. Only the top two teams will advance to the Central Coast Section playoffs.
