Menlo College freshman Shannon Chapman went two for four in two games and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of January 30th through February 5th, 2012.

Chapman, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, went two for four at the plate with an critical RBI. The RBI was the go-ahead run for the Oaks in the second game of their doubleheader versus NCAA Division II member CSU Stanislaus last Wednesday.

The Oaks split their doubleheader with CSU Stanislaus, losing the first game 9-1 in five innings and winning the second game 5-4.
