The Menlo-Atherton boys' soccer team remained atop the PAL Bay Division standings with a 3-1 victory over visiting Sequoia on Friday evening. Senior Edgardo Molina had the first goal (assist Will Lyons) and final assist as the Bears improved to 6-0-3 in league (11-0-4 overall) heading into a big three-game week that includes a match Monday against second-place San Mateo. Aaron Oro provided the winning goal, which came unassisted, while an own goal provided insurance against the Cherokees, who discovered earlier in the week they had to forfeit matches against Woodside and Carlmont due to playing an ineligible player.
