Isaac Polkinhorne scored in the eighth minute and added a second goal before halftime to spark the Sacred Heart Prep boys' soccer team to a 3-0 victory over host Menlo School in a West Bay Athletic League opener on Wednesday. Robert Hellman made it 2-0 off a corner kick after assisting on Polkinhorne's first goal while Andrew Liotta assisted on the final goal to give the defending champion Gators (1-0, 4-0-2) a solid cushion heading into the second half.
