All four Central Coast Section girls' quarterfinal tennis matches were either postponed or rescheduled to Saturday due to rain on Friday. The Burlingame at Menlo School match was the only one to get under way, with the No. 4 Knights and No. 5 Panthers playing to a 3-3 deadlock before rain halted the match, which will resume Saturday at Menlo at 2:30 p.m.

No. 7-seeded Sacred Heart Prep and No. 2 Saratoga was postponed to Saturday at 2 p.m. Top-seeded Monta Vista will host No. 8 Lynbrook at 1 p.m., while No. 6 St. Francis and No. 3 Mitty will get started at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara at 4:30 p.m.

The St. Francis-Mitty winner will face the Saratoga-Sacred Heart Prep winner in one CCS semifinal on Monday at Courtside Club in Los Gatos at 11:30 a.m. The Menlo-Burlingame winner will take on the Monta Vista-Lynbrook winner in the other semifinal on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Those winner will play for the title on Wednesday.
