Gunn sophomore Sarah Robinson ran the No. 2 cross-country time in school history, a 17:32 over the 2.95-mile course at Crystal Springs in Belmont, while leading the Titans to a second-place finish at the SCVAL El Camino Championships on Tuesday. Robinson ran one minute, 36 seconds faster than she did last season while taking third in 19:08. She beat defending champ Allison Sturges of Mountain View, who clocked 18:19 (a second slower than last season). The Titans qualified for the CCS Championships, as did third-place Palo Alto.
