Evan Romero had 16 kills but the Stanford men's volleyball team dropped a 30-21, 30-26, 30-24 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match to visiting Pacific on Thursday night. The Cardinal (3-4, 6-4) hosts Ball State in a nonconference affair on Friday night.
