CCS doubles final , Menlo's Carlisle-Nishimura 2nd

After compiling the most single-season team victories (28) in school history, the Menlo School boys’ tennis program came up short of one final triumph as the tandem of senior Andrew Carlisle and freshman J.T. Nishimura dropped a 7-5, 1-6, 7-5 decision in the doubles final of the Central Coast Section Individual Tournament at Imperial Courts in Aptos. Carlisle and Nishimura lost to Bellarmine’s Garrett Taylor and Rohan Shankar. Carlisle and Nishimura reached the finals on Thursday by defeating teammates Michael Hoffman and Mac Osborne in the semifinals, 6-0, 6-0. Carlisle and Nishimura also topped Hoffman and Osborne in this season’s West Bay Athletic League finale, 6-2, 6-3.
