Getting double victories from Maurice Williams in the 100 and triple jump and E.J. Floreal in the 200 and 400, the Palo Alto boys earned a share of the overall SCVAL De Anza Division title by winning the league championships on Thursday at Gunn High. The Vikings scored a whopping 136 points to win easily, but needed Los Altos to beat dual-meet Mountain View in order to claim to overall title. The defending champion Spartans, however, just edged the Eagles for second, 86-82.
