Gunn moved closer to wrapping up the SCVAL El Camino Division dual-match title with an overwhelming 73-0 victory over visiting Lynbrook on Thursday night. Lynbrook, normally a competitive wrestling program, was hampered by sickness and injury and was forced to forfeit six of the 14 weight divisions. If that wasn’t enough, the Titans won the other eight matches -- most by fall or technical fall. Gunn senior Stefan Weidemann (152) continued his undefeated season with his 13th pin of the year and is now 16-0 and ranked first in the CCS and fourth in the state. Sophomore Eric Cramer (119) remained undefeated in duals (7-0) and has amassed 16 pins thus far.
