The Menlo-Atherton girls' soccer team broke loose for three second-half goals to hand visiting Sequoia a 3-0 loss in PAL Bay Division action Thursday. The Bears (2-6-2, 5-8-3) got the eventual game-winning goal when freshman Gillian Collom followed in a rebound off a header by Kim O'Donnell for a 1-0 game. In the 68th minute, Stephanie Lee made it 2-0 by following in a rebound off a shot by Mariana Jacuinde. Two minutes later, the Bears finished things off when freshman Tess Cain boomed in a free kick from 35 yards out.
