Baseball Team Edges Important Victory Over Sequoia

On Monday afternoon, the baseball team defeated Sequoia Ravens by a score of 3-2 after giving up a late lead only to come back and swoop the win from the Ravens.  Both offenses struggled to score throughout the game. Boys Lacrosse Beats Serra to Advance in Playoffs

In round one of the CCS Playoffs, the M-A boys lacrosse team faced off against the Serra Padres, the game was tightly contested but the Bears pulled out the 11-8 victory, and are moving onto the next round of the playoffs.  The game started off close, with goals from junior Peter Koren and senior Tyler Atkinson. Girls Lacrosse Moves on to Next Round of Playoffs

Photo credits to Alison Poirier On Wednesday, the girls lacrosse team earned an easy 15-4 win against the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs in the first round of CCS playoffs.  The M-A offense got rolling early in the game, scoring four goals in the opening minutes of the game. The goals started big nights for senior Amelia Poirier, sophomore Lexi Nelson, and freshman Sabine Polly.  After two more goals from junior Shea Dekshinieks, the Bears led 6-0 just halfway through the first half.
