Oliver Conn scored 16 points to lead Priory past host Eastside Prep 56-17 in a West Bay Athletic League boys basketball contest Thursday.

The Pinewood at Menlo and The King’s Academy at Sacred Heart Prep contests were postponed. The SHP at Menlo game scheduled for Saturday has also been postponed.

Priory (5-6, 1-0) is slated to play at The King’s Academy at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Eastside (1-5, 0-1) is scheduled to host Harker at 6:30 p.m. the same day.

Steve Emeneke scored 15 points for Priory, which has won two in a row and three of its past four. Clint Smith and Isiah Dean each hit a 3-pointer for the defending WBAL champions.

On the girls’ side, Saturday’s Notre Dame Belmont at Menlo and Pinewood at Crystal Springs Uplands games have been postponed.

In the WBAL Skyline Division, scheduled games Saturday are Sacred Heart Prep at Mercy Burlingame and Castilleja at Notre Dame San Jose, both at 6:30 p.m.

In the West Catholic Athletic League, the St. Francis boys beat visiting Bellarmine 68-63.

Boys soccer

St. Francis opened WCAL play with a 7-0 victory over visiting Riordan on Thursday. The Lancers (5-2, 1-0) are scheduled to host Serra at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Gunn girls golf coach Chris Redfield was named the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division Coach of the Year and the Titans were honored with the Sportsmanship award for the division.
