FARMERS MARKET REOPENS ... on Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to noon on Gilman Street between Hamilton and Forest avenues (behind the post office), in downtown Palo Alto. The market, with fresh, locally produced foods, continues every Saturday through Dec. 14, rain or shine. A portion of sales is donated to Avenidas, a Palo Alto organization supporting older adults; to date donations are approaching $400,000.
