DRIVE SMART ... The California Highway Patrol will present half-day seminars at Avenidas on topics related to driver safety for seniors , including myths about older drivers, safe driving tips, confidential self-assessments, and compensating for age-related changes. The roles of nutrition, fitness and medication also will be discussed. The seminar takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Thursday, Feb. 9, 1 - 4 p.m. Free, but pre-registration required.
