A list of local residents who died recently:

Guido Budelli, 98, a longtime resident of Menlo Park who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a mechanic in the Bay Area, died on July 17; Cynthia Eva Swanson Miller, 75, a longtime resident of Palo Alto who served as director of development for multiple local nonprofit organizations, died on June 16; Edna Jane Anderson, 89, a resident of Palo Alto who taught elementary school in Bedford, Indiana, died on July 19; James Moore Pollock, 86, a resident of Portola Valley who formed Pollock Financial Group and served on the Stanford Athletic Board, died on July 5.
