CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to meet in a closed session to discuss existing litigation involving separate claims against the city by Wells Fargo Bank and Monroe Place, as well as a petition to the state Water Resources Control Board relating to stormwater runoff. The council will also consider approving a variance for a home at 224 Churchill Ave. and hold a public hearing on 1050 Page Mill Road, which involves demolition of four buildings totaling 265,895 square feet and construction of two buildings with the same amount of square footage. The closed session will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.
