- Leo Holub, one of Ansel Adams' first workshop students. He founded the photography department at Stanford University and remains a senior lecturer, emeritus, in the art department.
- Judy Dater, a well-known local photographer, artist and teacher. Her work has been displayed at galleries and museums worldwide.
- George Fry, a professional photographer for more than 25 years. He travels extensively, has free-lanced for many national magazines and has done contract work for clients that include Nike, NFL Properties and Reebok.
- Joe Melena, the Weekly's chief photographer. Before joining the Weekly, Melena was a staff photographer for many years with the Peninsula Times Tribune.

The 38th annual Moonlight Run and Walk is Friday evening, September 9. Proceeds go to the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund, benefiting local nonprofits that serve families and children in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
