The experience is a big part of photography for me. That is, the act of being out in the wild, feeling the gentle breeze, hearing the sound of crashing waves, smelling the fresh ocean air, hearing the call of birds or gentle buzzing of insects. All of these sensory inputs are an integral part of my photography and have a profound influence the final result.

I strive to find beauty in anything I photograph. I am constantly on the lookout for new and different ways of seeing. With the advent of digital photography the competition of finding a unique vision has gotten much more difficult. I am always pushing myself to find "new" ways of seeing.
