Jazzy Jellies is a photo of jellyfish taken at the Monterey Aquarium with an Olympus Camedia Digital Camera, C720, 3.0 megapixels. I enhanced the photo on an eMac with the Photo Impression program, using crayon effects.

As someone who draws and paints in watercolor, I'm fascinated by shapes and how they bump up against each other. The jellyfish presented the perfect opportunity for examining shape. Unfortunately the camera is no longer useable because I was going in for a closeup shot of oysters on Cumberland Island, Georgia, and I fell into the oyster bed. I ended up needing 17 stitches, and the camera became full of grit.
