14th Annual Palo Alto Weekly Photo Contest
"Saturday Morning" About Rick Stultz
"I didn't think about it at the time," he said
of the resemblance. "I was just looking at the composition
and colors and so forth." Stultz wandered downtown with his Nikon d100, looking for interesting
light and design, and came across the building in the background.
Intrigued with the lighting
and shapes, he was pondering how to turn it into an interesting image when the
woman in the walker came along. "I realized she fit in just right. So I
waited until she got to just the right place and took the picture." Stultz, 59, has been a Palo Alto resident for 30 years and is in commercial real estate management. He also does architectural photography. |
