Randy Lee Hunter, a lifelong resident of Palo Alto, died on December 14, 2021 at the age of 69.
Randy grew up on Emerson St. in old Palo Alto with his parents Ray and Berniece, and his older brother Jan. Randy enjoyed “the great outdoors” including the California Gold Country, fishing, prospecting, and gold panning. Randy was a “mechanic extraordinaire” who could build anything or fix anything. From carpentry to auto mechanics to computers, Randy had “the knack”. He lovingly referred to himself as "the Jack of all trades and the master of none".
Randy is survived by his niece Stacey Mette, his nephew Ray Hunter, and their families. Randy will be remembered by all who knew him as a warm, kind, and gentle soul. He lived a good life full of friends, family, fun, hard work, and love.
