Seth Goyal and Andrew Wang each won their first two matches to reach the quarterfinals of the California Coast wrestling Classic in Aptos on Tuesday.

Goyal, the top seed in the 133-pound weight class, recorded a pin and a 13-0 decision. Wang, seeded seventh at 126, recorded a pin and a 12-5 decision.

Calvin Grewal dropped his opening match but then came back with two shutout wins to remain alive at 120 pounds.

Dara Heydarpour, also competing at 120 pounds, went 2-2. He had a pin and a shutout victory.

Alex Daw, at 220, finished 0-2.
