An East Palo Alto man died after he was shot outside an apartment complex at about 10:12 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, police said.
The man has been identified as 27-year-old Mark Anthony Jack, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office.
Officers were dispatched to the Light Tree Apartments at 1805 East Bayshore Road after receiving following multiple 911 calls about a man possibly being shot.
Jack was located at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
He was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and died, police said.
