A 16-year-old East Palo Alto boy died of a gunshot wound early this morning in a Redwood City hospital and police are now asking the public for help in determining where and when he was shot.
Police were called to Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City around 12:20 a.m. on a report of a gunshot victim with a wound to the upper torso, according to Lt. Sean Hart.
The boy died shortly after arriving at the hospital, Hart said. The location where the shooting occurred and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown at this time.
