Stanford senior forward Josh Huestis has been invited to participate in the 62nd annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, which runs Wednesday-Saturday at the Churchland High School Sports Complex in Portsmouth, Va.

The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT) features the top 64 seniors from across the country competing in a four-day, 12-game tournament in front of representatives from NBA franchises and international organizations.

Huestis has been assigned to the Sales Systems, LTD team, which also includes Davante Gardner (Marquette), Niels Giffey (Connecticut), Tyler Johnson (Fresno State), Rian Pierson (Toledo), Markel Starks (Georgetown), David Stockton (Gonzaga) and Talib Zanna (Pittsburgh).

Huestis averaged 11.2 points and a team-best 8.2 rebounds in 36 starts as a senior, leading Stanford to its fifth NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in school history and a 23-13 overall record.

A three-time Pac-12 Defensive Team selection, Huestis established a school record with 190 career blocks, quite an accomplishment for a player who stands only 6-7. Huestis competed in 134 career games, ranking second-best in school history while his 826 career rebounds are good for eighth on the all-time Cardinal list.
