• Music: Pacifica Quartet

The chamber ensemble Pacifica Quartet will give a free performance tomorrow (Nov. 3) at 6 p.m. at the Community School of Music and Arts, 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View. The event is part of a series of shorter gratis performances by artists who are also giving full concerts at Stanford Lively Arts. (The quartet will also perform Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in Stanford’s Dinkelspiel Auditorium.) • Art: ‘Taste of Tattoo’

The Smith Andersen Editions print studio and gallery is opening a new exhibition tomorrow (Nov. 3) with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at 440 Pepper Ave. in Palo Alto. “Taste of Tattoo” features art inspired or influenced by tattoos, with work by five artists known for printmaking and five known for tattooing.
