■ Radio: ‘West Coast Live’

On Saturday (June 18) from 10 a.m. to noon, the San Francisco-based radio variety show “West Coast Live” has a live broadcast from the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Host Sedge Thomson will interview authors Paul Ehrlich, Oscar Hijuelos and Daniel Orozco, with Nashville musician Marshall Chapman and “new roots” band Current Swell also set to appear.
