Ken Ludwig’s play “Moon Over Buffalo,” about two over-the-hill actors on the small-town circuit in 1953, is in its opening weekend at the Bus Barn Theatre, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos. ■ Art: Paly Student Art Show

Far from a quiet art exhibition, the Paly Student Art Show will feature live music by students as well as a bake sale and socializing. The event is scheduled for Sunday (May 22) from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lucie Stern Community Center, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Student artwork will include oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, sculptures, photographs and blown glass.
