Free Earth Day events in Palo Alto today (April 22) include a 10:30 a.m. dedication of the “Bliss in the Moment” sculpture by James Moore at E. Bayshore Road between Embarcadero and San Antonio roads. Also scheduled is a downtown “educational celebration” from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lytton Plaza at University Avenue and Emerson Street, including a poetry slam, informational booths, electric-bicycle test rides and a fashion show of recycled clothing.
