Stanford police are searching for a man who they said sexually assaulted a woman in a graduate-student apartment at Escondido Village Saturday night.
The man allegedly gained entry to the apartment on Comstock Circle and entered the woman’s bedroom at about 9:30 p.m. The woman, a graduate student, was sleeping at the time, Stanford police said in a statement.
When she woke up and screamed, the suspect fled the scene, police said. The victim described the suspect as a dark-skinned male, possibly black, about 30 years old and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing blue jeans and possibly a dark T-shirt.
Police said the victim did not have any physical injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call 650-329-2413.
TV news reports say this is actually the second on-campus assault in recent weeks. There was a better suspect description after the first attack. Was that attack reported on PaloAltoOnline.com? I do not remember reading about it here.
it was dark in there? but yet finding out after a drunking night, You scared him away(FROM THE DESCRIPTION HE WASNT A LOOKER)..
to ummmm,
Please review your post. It may be the most ignorant post that I have ever read on this site, though it has some pretty stiff competition.
To second attack?:
This might be the story you’re thinking of. A student was assaulted on campus in January, though the physical descriptions of the two suspects (in Saturday’s assault and the January assault) are quite different.

Channel 7 news just reported that police don’t think the two cases are related. They described the first incident as an attempted break in the same area.
KTVU TV news last night said there was another attack 2 weeks ago. The suspect was a young white man.

Doesn’t include crimes just off campus. The assault in January was similar to one on Alma St. Guess you could check the PAPD website, but I’m not familiar with the site:
